As the 2025-2026 President of IRWA Chapter, I am honored to serve alongside such a dedicated and knowledgeable group of professionals. My primary goal this year is growth—growth in our membership, in our professional development opportunities, and in our community impact. We will focus on expanding outreach to new members, strengthening partnerships with industry leaders, and enhancing the value of our monthly meetings and educational offerings. Together, we can continue to build a more vibrant and inclusive chapter that reflects the evolving landscape of right-of-way and infrastructure development.
To support this vision, we’ll be introducing new initiatives aimed at increasing engagement and collaboration. These include spotlighting member achievements, launching mentorship opportunities, and helping to facilitate the pathway towards professional certification for current and new members. I encourage each of you to get involved, share your ideas, and help shape the future of our chapter.
Each of us knows someone who should be part of Chapter 22 but isn’t—maybe they’re new to your company or the area, a neighbor in a related service, or a subcontractor your agency works with. We all benefit from the knowledge and experience each member brings, so let’s work together to continue growing our chapter. Our goal is simple: for each member to add one new member this year. Reach out, extend an invitation, and help us strengthen our network. Together, we can make Chapter 22 a thriving hub of connection, innovation, and professional excellence.

We are thrilled to announce that Chapter 22 has been chosen as the Website of the Year at the 2025 Education Conference in Virginia Beach!

As a chapter, we would like to take the opportunity to start by highlighting the incredible team of committed leaders within our chapter. The success of the 2024 Region 6 Fall Forum was made possible by the countless hours of planning contributed by our leaders. While everyone on the planning committee played a role, there were a few individuals who truly went the extra mile to ensure our chapter hosted a remarkable fall forum for Region Six. Their behind-the-scenes efforts were invaluable, and we would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to these ladies for their dedication and time. When we asked a few attendees to describe the forum in one word, “flawless” was the consistent response. We wholeheartedly agree. Please be sure to check out more about this wonderful event by clicking the picture to the right.

Region 6 is comprised of seven chapters across the seven states including Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
